We are a non profit making organization with the best interests and happiness of the dogs in the Empangeni and Richards Bay areas at heart.

We offer classes in the following:

• Flyball
• Protection
• Tracking
• Dancing with Dogs

The Empangeni Dog Club was established in Empangeni in August 1997 and, as we are the only registered Dog Club in the Zululand area, we soon saw the need to offer classes in Richards Bay as well. We ONLY use positive, reward based training methods and our trainers, who have studied through the Ethology Academy, are qualified Animal Behaviorist Practitioners who attend regular training workshops, seminars and courses to keep abreast of the latest trends in dog training and animal behaviour. Our members regularly travel to Durban and beyond to compete in various agility and obedience competitions and we are proud to say that they usually return armed with prizes and rosettes.

The Club has a Committee comprising of trainers and voluntary members and all decisions regarding the Club procedures are made by the Committee.
