Agility

Agility is a world renowned sport of which the South African team is the current world champions.  It is a series of obstacles that the dog must overcome within a time frame. A clear round and the fastest time wins.

We meet for agility practice regularly on Saturday afternoons at our Empangeni venue. Please email us should you be interested in joining this exciting sport.

After much hard work and saving money, the club is proud to boast ownership of a complete set of contact and non-contact agility equipment.

Dancing with dogs

We will shortly be holding a workshop for all of those interested in getting involved with this dynamic and exciting dog sport. Watch this space.

Flyball

Flyball is a relay race between two teams comprising of four dogs each. The object is for the dog to jump over four jumps, aim a paw at the carpeted section of the flyball machine, and when the tennis ball is released, the dog must retrieve the tennis ball, and jump over the four jumps and return to the starting line with the ball in its mouth, before the next dog can go. We have two flyball machines and we are keen to build up teams for competition.
